Ciarán Tully
Consultant
Ciarán Tully has spent more than fifteen years in politics and public affairs, from the doorstep to the boardroom.
He learned his trade running election campaigns at every level, from local contests to general elections and high-profile by-elections, and advising MPs and council leaders on strategy, messaging and risk. He has sat on candidate selection panels and disciplinary boards, and has stood for election himself, so he understands scrutiny from both sides.
He has since led external affairs for a national trade body, working with MPs, mayors, combined authorities and government, advising chief executives and boards, and speaking for the sector in the national media.
He holds a degree in Politics and International Relations and postgraduate qualifications in law, and is completing the Bar Training Course at Manchester Metropolitan University. His working rule: understand everyone's reasons, and trust nothing you have not checked.
